If you haven’t noticed already, I have a pretty sizable, lovely beard. The saying goes, “With a great beard, comes great responsibility,” or something like that, and it’s true.
Bearded guys, and ladies who know bearded guys, come up to me all the time and ask me about my regimen and all sorts of beard questions. But the one thing I get asked the most is about how to use beard oil.
I’ve finally gone ahead and made a video using Lovely Beards bourbon scented beard oil to show you exactly how to lube your beard up and prep it for the day. Enjoy!
STEP 1
Use the dropper to put a small amount of oil in the palm of your hand. I like to use about 8-10 drops, that’s pretty good for me. For a short beard, I’d say 3-4 drops, a medium length around 4-8, and anything longer than mine, consider motor oil. I’m kidding, please don’t do that.
STEP 2
Start massaging the front of the beard. You want to see a nice shine to the top layer of your face bush.
STEP 3
Go underneath. Use your fingers to massage under and inside your beard, also treating the chin and cheeks.This gets neglected so often but is so important because it’s an easy way to get to skin.
STEP 4
Even it out. Make it even Steven and you should be looking nice and lubed up and ready to party.
