The last few months have been specifically challenging for me because of having to move. Plans shifted a few times, three roommates turned into one, and we had to readjust. Despite this, there is one upside to moving — decorating with our new friends at RedBubble
After about five weeks of searching, my girlfriend and I found a beautiful one bedroom apartment in LA’s Miracle Mile neighborhood. We have an amazing balcony with a beautiful community courtyard, but with RedBubble, we’ve also created a great work environment.

With my new workspace in mind, I wanted to find a few things to make it attractive, personal, and memorable — maybe some art, maybe some productivity accessories.
I found two amazing canvas prints! One was called “Light Suit,” which is perfect, and mandatory, for LA weather, seen here on the left. The other, “True Gentleman,” is a sort of gentleman’s code that does real justice to the term — not that Instagram thinks the word means. We could all take a few lines from this piece!
In addition to the canvas prints, I found two great acrylic blocks to sit on the desk and serve as reminders for both my girlfriend and me. The blocks are actually maps of some of our favorite places in Boston, my hometown, and Pittsburgh, her hometown. They’re just a small daily reminder of our roots.
While browsing through RedBubble, I decided I needed a couple new pieces for daily productivity. I found this awesome mountainscape laptop case for my MacBook that has beautiful grayscale colors. As someone who also likes to write notes, a journal was also necessary, and there’s nothing cooler than a space dude chilling on the moon in a lawn chair looking down on Earth!
