BOSTON — On Saturday, an estimated 800 runners will take to Fenway Park and surrounding streets for the city’s fourth annual Cupid’s Undie Run.
As per the name, participants are welcome to run “a mile(ish)” in their skivvies, or whatever they feel most comfortable running in, from House of Blues Boston, through Fenway Park, and back to the starting point. Costumes are encouraged.

Despite the fact that this run is more of a clothing-optional party, organizers insist they’re not crazy — “just crazy serious about raising money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation,” according to the Boston-chapter Facebook page.
The CTF raises money for the research of neurofibromatosis — a disorder that causes tumors to grow all over the nervous system, potentially leading to blindness, deafness, learning disabilities, and severe chronic pain.
“Last year we fundraised about $260,000. This will be our fourth year, and we’ll hit over 1 million dollars (total) in Boston alone,” said Lindsey Norse, one of the race directors.
In 2016, the Boston run contributed to a collective fundraising total from over 35 cities of $3.5 million, and nearly $11.5 million all-time.
Cupid’s Undie Run will be held on Saturday Feb. 18 from Noon – 4 p.m. at House of Blues Boston. To register, visit them online, here, or on Facebook.
